Well, I had a positive and negative result from working on my car last weekend. First, I fixed all of the steering issues and the car drives like a Porsche now. Second, I dented the FREAKING hood! I want to die... I took off the power steering fluid reservoir two weeks ago to inspect the leak, and I was in a hurry to button everything back up on Saturday and mounted the reservoir about an inch too high... Needless to say when I closed the hood a dent was formed.
My question is can the paintless dent removal guys remove a dent from the outside-in? I know the hammer fender and door dings from the inside-out, but with the paint and all I didn't know if it is possible, and cheap, to do it from the inside-out...
Any insights or experience?
Also, we in Tennessee had a horrendous storm last night and it hailed for about a minute or so. I don't have covered parking and it was dark when I went to work, so my stomach is in knots wondering if there is any damage...

Haha, join the club. Many others (not me) have done the same thing. Paintless dent guys can get that out, but you may have cracked the paint.

Yeah, the paint is cracked where the dent is, but it is about the size of a nickel, so I am hoping it won't affect the dent removal process...

A good pdr can do wonders. Also, you may find out that the fender tops get dented when a fly lands on them-stand and look from your door to the headlamps and you usually will see marks. These come out too.

It might not have been the hail. The fenders are notorious for being rippled by anything, even you when you lean over to check your oil. I wouldn't worry about it. People have good results getting all those ripples removed by PDR. The dimple in the hood probably won't be a big deal either. They can get it flat again and do some touch-up paint. I've seen amateur touching-up and pro work. The pro work makes it look like nothing ever happened.
