I wouldn't look for a factory car but a conversion.

There is a conversion car for sale in New York. I phoned them about 2 months ago and they still had the car. It's midnight blue and looks really nice but may have some mechanical issues.

That car is the former John McCarter Powerhaus conversion that was in Excellence magazine years ago-he had brought the car to the Hershey meet twice-a bit rough cosmetically, but it ran pretty quick.

biotechee: Yeah I just saw it.

Damian in NJ: What do you mean by "a bit rough cosmetically"? I have never cared for a garage queen since I drive my cars.

I saw the car as well and for seller's sake would prefer sharing the findings via PM if anyone is interested.

Funny thing is that the car was listed on their site about a year ago (back before I bought my 968 Turbo) and they were asking $27,000 for it.
