I thought so and didn't want to say it without confirmation. The car is night and day from then, it looks like it just came out of the factory and goes like a bat out of hell! The rims Raj has for it are just incredible...and the full leather interior is so nice...I have to stop now, I'm drooling on the keyboard!

I didn't think very many 968 Turbos were around. Beautiful and very desirable car, even then.

Harvey, so that I don't get accused for calling it something its not, its a REPLICA not the real deal . I was very fortunate that the Ludwig Heimrath had already installed an original turbo S hood. That is NLA and would have been the hardest part to find. The list of what has been done since I bought it is extremly long. I am almost done this time around and can't find the time to finish the last 5%.

Raj,

I still stand by my original statement. Frankly, there are very few 968 Turbos around (of any kind) and you have a beautiful and very desirable car. You have a gem.

The cost of getting a 968 up to turbo status is quite prohibitive for most and, because of that, I suspect 968 turbos will continue to be scarce commodity. This configuration has to be one of the best and I suspect the performance would be surprising to most modern car drivers.

Harvey, lets just say I have no problems running with 996tt's. Never ran against a 997tt but I think that might be a formidable task. I would rather let Steve describe what it drives like. Since the last time he drove, I have made a few mods to get alteast 30-40 rwhp gain if not more on the same boost.
I was very fortunate to start with this car since a lot of the hard to find parts were already there. I have since taken it to the next level. Would love to show it to its original owner some day.
Regards.

Raj:

What exhaust system do you have that utilizes the dual pipes or tips?

I hope you don't mind Raj,
But I had a couple of pictures of your car and just had to boast about your beauty in it's current perfect condition.

Please let me know if you want me to delete them

I'm so glad that car ended up going to someone like Raj. He did it up right. Even better than the real thing.

Eric, thanks for the kind words. Its means a lot coming from someone like you who has such a beautiful car themself and have inspired quite a few people on what our cars can look like.
The interesting story behind my car is, I beat our MIA Ray Starbird to this car. He was very interested in the car and was trying hard to get rid of his race car so he could fund the purchase of this car. I was made an offer on my M030 Adventurine Green car which made my purchase possible. A friend up in Canada checked it out, I drove up there, drove it and made the deal. By far the best purchase I have made. The front bumper, the hood and the rear spoiler were always on the car as was a stock lower compression engine with a K27/11 setup. I think the only parts remaining from the old setup is the hood.

Looks sweet.....I'm jealous. I really like how clean it looks and the wheels are awesome. I've never tested mine against a 997TT but a Diablo found out that he couldn't compete. Made my day.
