Techno, you are 100% correct. Its the same car.
Harvey, we have plenty of them in NJ, with soccer stickers on their minivans and SUV's. I usually try to avoid driving around them. The car was not well maintained in my opinion, that is why I have to spent so much money. As far as well maintained, I have bought those as well but unfortunately everyone has their own standard's to what is considered well maintained. I just want peace of mind. Even though the car comes with a stack full of records, I am still going to set the counters to zero from when I start owning it to keep track.
Thanks for the compliments.

Wow, that color was meant for that car. Or vice versa. It's too bad that the occasional 968 I see around here is either red, white, or black, just like the ones my friends and I have. I don't imagine there were very many riviera blue cabs made...

Raj,
If I hadn't wrecked my black 968 racer, it was getting painted Riviera Blue! Now that I have the Red racer I won't mess too much with the color (except for the orange accents which look really nice with the red).
Good luck with your latest 968. Hope I get to see you & the car in person soon.

Raj;
The Riveria Blue looks awesome on that car! Hard to believe by the photo's that the car was not well maintained. I guess photos can hide some of the imperfections. Based on the photos the car looks looks stunning.
Whatever happened to your plans for doing DE's? I thought you purchased a 944 track car?
Best of luck with the new ride!
Regards,
Joe

Joe, I am just about finishing a major project in Boston this weekend. The plan was to go DE but I think I might have to wait a few more years with little kids and very little free time.
I think I am very critical so my opinion of the car might be a bit harsh.
Thanks for the compliments.

And I'm in Nashville, followed by another Nashville trip, then Tucson, then Seattle, Portland, then Tucson, Vancouver, Hawaii, Boston, and I heard today I've got a London trip for late September-I'll more likely get track time in the UK than in the US.

I feel your pain with regard to track time! This time last year I had over 18 days on the track but due to a new job and extensive travel I've seen WG for 2 days. Luckily, I have a slow period and plan to do 5 days between LR and WG over the next 3 weeks.
Once you get that car on the track you will be "Craving" more!
