That SC kit for a 968 gives you 300 hp (at the wheels).
Obviously not enough to go against a 964 C2 with just a K&N cone, MAF, and headers, which yield about 290 hp (flywheel). A friend of mine had this car with these mods, and he did a 12.6 @ 113 mph in the 1/4 mile.
Now that's slighly quicker than a chipped 951 with intake, exhaust, MAF, and running 19 psi, (mine, back in the day.......) which ran a 12.9 @ 112 mph (dyno'ed at 287 whp).
And that 951 made 378 lb-ft of torque, which a 968 will NEVER make while running only 7 psi of boost from a SC.

what's this really about?

there is certainly something special about a good 911...a responsive, torquey smooth spinning engine.....a light, quick, responsive turning front end, a classic cockpit, and a very sexy body.

my 993 has been a great street/track car.....really like the 964 as well....
and now I will get more serious about setting up a newly acquired 968 for track/race.
