I saw a coupe in NJ at a workshop, Damian has a convertible, and a coupe was offered on ebay (fully track ready and too much$). Anyone have one for sale?

The other sy coupe I know of in NNJ belongs to a local NNJR gal, who's significant other is very involved with the club. (I met her years ago, a friend of a friend-she was driving a lime green X-1/9 then).

She bought the car out of Florida, and had some cosmetic work done in Chatham NJ-faded rockers and some other paint work-she does take the car to NNJR DE's I'm told.

There's a cab in the midwest, another coupe in NH, and the three we know in NJ, a cab seen in NC-you're talking less than 10 US cars altogether, so good luck-plus the 'summer yellow' one off car in Fla.

 

As I told Damian on saturday, the only way I could see myself selling the speed yellow coupe is if he sells me his cab. Chances of that happening soon are very slim to none. Ofcourse one cannot predict how the IT market will be so I try never to say never. Hopefully I will give it to my daughter someday (3yrs old now) as its her favorite color. Atleast now she knows it is my car, not Damian's .

Seen a SY coupe at Mont-Tremblant with NJ tags. See pic below. Seen the same couple at VIR too.

Local coupe have a well sorted SY F-stock racecar for sale right now. Not original though, used to be red.

When I was in high school (co '98) I would see a SY, or it might have been pastel, coupe in the area all the time with the tag "yelloh". This is the Mayo - Edgewater part of MD across the river Annapolis. Don't know if its still around though.

 

There is a Coupe in Aliso Viejo CA... I saw it a couple times a month on the way into work.

 

Mike, that's the car, the significant other has the GT3. Nice pair of cars for the garage, eh? And the summer yellow car was delivered when new to Maryland, IIRC the article in Excellence, so it's probably the same car.

 

There's also a SY cab in Cary, NC that was parked in the employee lot at RDU Airport last April. Looked slightly tired, but then, so do I.

Back in '97 or so, I saw a preowned speed yellow on black 968 cab for sale at the Porsche dealer in Louisville, Kentucky. I wonder where that car ended up.
