ECU, I think if you were to price such a conversion, you will see that the asking price is little compared to the investment in such type of conversions. Trust me, its very cheap.

Really, you mean to say there was a 2nd car they built. I know Alberto bought one of the Rivard cars as well. Wow! His is a 3.4 liter.
I wonder how many canadian 968 turbo conversions were done. I know Ludwig Heimrath built mine and another one.

As Raj pointed out, the price is more than reasonable if it's a true Turbo-RS!
The cost of conversion for the engine alone could easily exceed $20K.
Then you have suspension and transmission work to consider, too.
I would have been a wealthier man if I did it that way!

Jason, I did it that way and then spent a nice chunk on the turbo RS motor, turbo S trans/torque tube/clutch setup. The car was fully sorted when I bought it, so its not like any of this was needed. I also had the car resprayed and swapped some body panels to original turbo S. Not sure what mental illness I am suffering from, lol.
I think with only one, I needed constant tinkering but with two I am just happy to keep them both on the road .

Raj,
You are the wiser of the 2 of us...I'm still trying to hide some of the bills from my wife!
Now we're getting a custom cage built...I'm picking it up on Monday. Then I'll have the interior cleaned up and sprayed.
Any thoughts on who does a nice job of finishing up the interior and interior paint? The cage has been painted already. How about that fellow you mentioned a while ago? I think he's in NJ.

Raj,
Do you have a site I can read more about your car? I thought about doing a 3L conversion on my car, but I think I would rather start on a 968, ergo I am currently in the market for a 968 ... thanks.

Randy, I have a registered domain but never got a chance to build a website. Are you trying to just turbocharge or are you trying to go for the look as well. Jason has a very nice conversion as well. Let me know if you have any particular questions.
