Does any one knows the performance specifications for the factory 968 Turbo S? Like 0-60, 1/4 mile and slalom times? I have about 5 or 6 Turbo S reports from different magazines but none of them posted this numbers. Will be interesting to know?

Raj:
Will be nice to test your car for this information, since yours is the closest thing to a factory one.

0- 60 mph is 4.6 sec
0-125 (200 km/h) is 16,8 sec
all in all the car is a little faster than a 964 3.8L RSR with 300 HP but 200 lbs less weight.

1/4 is 13 sec
infos from my car can be found here

While not quite 500, mine runs about 484. Here is a link to my dyno sheet: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SINGERDF/low%20boost.JPG
I have not had it re-dynoed since break-in. I hope to get it done this summer

I guess Raj's car would just fly away from a bone stock 968 TS in a straight line, as it features a 2.7 head, and that offers better performance than the stock 968 TS/TRS head.

I don't think a 2.7 l head is better than a 968 Turbo S or RS head. The flow in this head is not very good for a Turbo engine and needs a lot of work.
If it were so good Porsche would put this in the car and not designed for a lot money a new head.
There is a reason why an original 968 Turbo S is in 5th gear from 80 to 120 km/h faster than a GT1 faster than a GT3 and even faster than a Normal aspirated Gt3 RS
5.3 sec!!!!
a very light 964 3.8L RSR which has a single intake with individuals throttle bodys and has a very responsive engine needs 9.1 sec and has also a shorter gear box and less weight.
all these good results comes from the special head which makes ton of torque at very low rpm.
if you are looking for a high HP car than you need another head but if you are looking for a very fast car with a very responsive engine even at low rpm coming out of teh corner very fast etc then there is nothing else than the 968 Turbo S or RS head
my car has 525 NM torque and this with lowe rboost than stock (need new wastegate) my buddyys car has 565 Nm. Porsche quotes 500 Nm.
all 968 Turbo S has more power than quoted thats why the very good accelaration numbers which compares to a Gt3 with over 360 HP.

I thought the turbo 968's used the 2.7 head Konstantin?

By the way, I noticed you keep your sunroof open when doing your Auto-X...does this improve your airflow...create more downforce? Just kidding.

My car, at 1 bar, is putting out 323 HP and 389 TQ at the rear wheels.

Sounds like you have more going on than I do!

no it is not a 2.7 L head. It looks like a 2.7L head but inside is with ceramic like the 951 head but the ports and valves and springs are totaly diferent from both 951 nad 2.7 L heads.
actually I always close the sunnruf. This was free driving just for fun :-)

BTW you can not buy the Turbo for the Turbo s it was a prototype part. My has even a diferent one. it is exactly the same turbo but the part nr on the blue shield is different .
The RS used a k27 Turbo with a BIG hot housing a restrictor in front of the Turbo.
this required a diferent cross pipe and a different motor mount
