968 Connecting Rod Failure ??

interesting - a very sick part of me is looking forward to tearing down the motor to poke around in there - this is one of the things i want to look at

The 968 rings are not gapless. Factory spec is .20 - .40mm for both the compression and scraper rings. I have two sets available (standard bore). Seven of the eight rings packets have not been opened. One has been opened strictly for the purposes of measuring the end gap. If anyone is interested, let me know. I'd let them go for $125 for a set of 4 plus shipping.

The OEM for the conrods used in my 968 turbo S conversion is Arrow Precision of the UK.

Heritage Motorcar Research Inc. in Largo FL is performing the conversion and also sells the conrods.
