Hey so I recently purchased a 968 (project car). Ive been trying to work on my stereo CR-1 and all I have is the buttons lighting up when I turn it on and off. When I play with the volume I hear white noise like crackling. The screen is black. Also looks like its been messed with in the past. Any help is appreciated or and booklet or anything thanks.

Creative Car Audio Brea, CA 1-714-744-4438 They just repaired one of mine, bad display and also replaced a number of caps as preventitive & added Blu-tooth feature. Good and reliable guy.

Yes thats the only way. Be sure to pack well, they dont have many spare external parts. Call them for address etc....they also have a website www.creativecaraudioshop.com

Is that Bluetooth for phone calls or just music?

Best I can tell music only as I do not see any mic input although you could use the mic from the phone I suspect. I will ask. Have not installed.

The did my CR1 with Bluetooth. Just streams music, no phone calls.

I highly recommend creative. They have refurbished many of my classic radios and upgraded a few to Bluetooth. Top notch service , fast turn around.
