NJ Beer Night 1/30/04
NJ Beer Night 1/30/04
All,
Me and Jason K and anybody else will be meeting up
Friday Jan. 30 around 7:30 PM at Harvest Moon Brew Pub
http://www.harvestmoonbrewery.com/
The corner of Church & George Streets, New Brunswick.
Damn good beer. Pretty good grub too. (medium pricey $4/beer,
$8/burger, $15-25main course... does NOT cater to the college crowd).
All are welcome! If you email me to say your coming, I will try to keep
a rough count and reserve a table if called for!

Chris, I was staring at it as well when I saw it last week. There is nothing left in the hood, just crossmember with control arms, swaybar, AC compressor and PS pump. The rest is all out of the car.
I keep asking myself, " why did I do it?".
Oh well, it will only be faster so I should have a disclaimer signed by people that drive it.
Look forward to giving you a ride someday.
Take care.

I was also looking at an empty engine bay for many months in '02. But it was all worth it in the end, there's nothing like a fresh turbo engine to beat the crap out of!

I rebuilt it to stock. Had the original turbo rebuilt by Majestic, did rings and rod bearing, upgraded all the easy stuff like BOV and heater valve and WFR head gasket. My plan was to first get it like new stock, have fun for a while, then start upgrading. Did the engine in '02 and the brakes in spring '03. Since then I added a Guru chip kit and straight thru cat back exhaust (no muffler), which I really like. This spring I have to decide what's next. Safety, speed, stopping power? So much stuff to buy, so little discresionary spending power! I hope the kid lands a big fat college scholarship this spring then I'll have the funds for one badass 951!
So much snow, so little seat time!

Dental work on both sides of my mouth tomorrow afternoon, I don't want to get pulled over coming home, slurring, drooling, having had only a beer or two-wouldn't be very convincing!
