The only thing I know is that the first owner bought the wheels from Wheel Enhancement. It doesn't say on the order form what brand or company made the wheels. I really am interested to know though.

If it was Wheel Enhancement then they probably are RH's. I can't recall them selling any other 18" 3.6 replica than that brand. Several 968 owners have them. If they had been available in 17" from RH I probably would have bought them instead of the Supercups (which I got from WE), but 18's and cab's aren't the greatest mix, especially a lowered, stiffened car like mine. I still can't get over lumbar-Jeff would know how much that cost when new-plus headlight washers, side moldings, comfort seats, body color wing, lsd, hifi sound-I'm shocked they didn't order ornamental rim caps too.

They don't look like some of the RH's that I have seen. These have been on the car since 1998 so it could be one of their older versions. I have the original window sticker and here are some of the costs:
Lumbar Support Right Seat - $551
Lumbar Support Left Seat - $551
Full Power Seat Right - $538
Full Power Seat Left - $538
Protective Side Moldings - $350
Headlight Washers - $262
LSD - $913
Hi-fi Sound Pkg/10 Speaker/Amp - $561
The sticker doesn't show any additional cost for the Guards Red color painted rear wing, hatch trim and "B" pillar. The other option on this car was the 17" wheels for $1378. I hope someone finds this interesting.

This 968 in my opinion is a better car than my old 964. The 968 outhandles the 964 hands down and has more power due to the Weltmeister chip. The acceleration on the 968 is very surprising. You would never expect a 4 cylinder engine to respond like it does. I have a 1986 951 that is modified. Talk about a surprising response from a 4 cyliner car. That's another story.
I did like the 964, but when I thought about the costs to repair the engine on this car in the future I knew it wasn't worth it. I will eventually get a 930 but I can wait for that car. I bought the 964 because I needed a vehicle right away when I moved up to Seattle. I mentioned before that I would have bought this 968 if it was available when I bought the 964.

Raj, I had forgotten that-maybe the reason I got it so sideways driving it was I didn't have the lumbar adjusted properly? Anyway, Ignacio, lumbar equipped cars aren't thick on the ground.

Your red 968 sounds like the perfect track car!
The LSD will only help you, too.
There are plenty of beautiful cars out there on the track; don't worry...driving fast is good for the paint, too!

Ipo, the painted rear spoiler was an option, it was option code 595 and cost $213. Maybe the dealer did this for the original owner. It is a common upgrade. The lumbar seats are cool. Damian, that Amaranth Violet cab that I looked at a few years back had them. George would probably kill for these seats
