Default New to me 1995 968 :) Pics

i know i know, too many threads by me, but i gotta add this one!

New to me 1995 968 65Kmiles- Manual, LSD option- so excited to get this, it is on its way & should arrive Friday. The owner just dropped off the car at my friends warehouse who is as much of an enthusiast as i am, and he says the car looks pristine "it looks brand new" were his words..always good to hear! Owner was a meticulous guy and kept all service records

I'm a dealer & specialize in aircooled 911s, my DD is a 911 997S but I've been fascinated by the styling , drivability and history of the 968...this 968 I will be keeping for myself- at least for a while before I sell (hopefully business picks up so i don't have to let go of this one)

Planned mods- lower car/ clear euro lenses/ maybe cup 1 or 2 wheels. (as if you didn't know from the 100 threads about mods i've started)

Car has Techart front splitter, Design 1 Short shift kit, Stainless steel / Door sills & brake lines- Front & firewall brace - k&n air filter & possibly a chip (not sure about that)

Belts were done recently mileage wise 6k ago, but 4.5 years ago (OEM belt) so i will take in for a check up just incase.

Nice! You have a D1R front strut brace too.

What's the story on the hood pads, I thought those were not factory and in fact frowned upon because the caused heat build up?

Also looks like the front beauty shield was added too, around the airbox.

Look into the clubsport cubby for the center console, I think you will like that.

I think I read on here a long time ago that they stopped putting that plastic cover on in front of the air box in the last couple of years.

Well, i'm glad i have the "beauty cover" lol..it makes the engine look good!

I had put pics on the FB page 968 Enthusiasts and a couple of guys knew the car & owner from Irvine Cars & Coffee event..one sent me pics of the car from 2011 event..crazy ..i guess the techart front lip gives it away- must be kind of rare- from these pics its obvious i will want to lower it and put spacers..

I also think that on the 968 registry, in the color option section, this particular car is the pic that represents Grand Prix white ..

Correct, but as stated, they do look good and further clean up an already great looking engine compartment.

That said, there are brackets that hold the front assembly in place so you either have to jury-rig something on a later car or just let them sit there.

Great looking White 968!

I had 18" Turbo twists on my 95 cab and they looked great. Really filled up the wheel wells with stock suspension.

Are those 17" or 18"?

They are 17. but i think 18 will look too big on it, i've seen one with 18's hollow turbo and hmmm..wasn't sure how much i liked.

for suspension i'll get HR springs front and lower back using eccentric hoping to God it lowers it enough to look good/ Seems also no way to get Front spacers for this car wheels go in too much

This might look nice (without the vinyl decal).

Nice one! And it looks like it is local to you, which is even better. I look forward to seeing it around the area.
