Default Selling my 1995 968

I have recently purchased a 1995 coupe, 6 speed, that is mechanically sorted, drives great, really nice interior, all maintenance up to snuff, (timing belt, water pump, etc.) great shifting and clutch, seats are leather faced, power driver seat. All original but stereo, and I have that.
Carfax is perfect, and reflects the mileage of 129500. Car is grey with light grey interior.
Cosmetically, it is shiny, but there is a small crease in the hood headlight surround scratched, and the front bumper cover. It was hit by a tire that fell off a truck in front of it. The batwing is off, but I have it. There is also some scuffs and scrapes from use.
My heart has started giving me problems, and I need to sell the car as I won't be able to use it.
I'll try to upload pics tonite. What is a car like this worth?
I'm asking $12900.00. I WILL LOOK AT ALL FAIR OFFERS>
Thanks, Bill

Bill,

Did you pick this car up our of Charlotte, NC from a seller moving away to CA? If, so I know and test drove this car when it was for sale on Craigslist.

If it is that car, I will say the previous seller was a few ticks high in his asking with the cosmetic work that needs to be done to bring the car up to snuff.

The outside has some scuffs, a few chips, but very minor. The main issue is the front bumper cover, around the headlight, and the crease in the hood. The tint probably needs replaced, and the cup wheels have some scratches on them, but have nearly new Michelin Sport tires on them. A complete repair, including a paint from the doors forward, by the body shop here who has had several Factory Five cars at Sema, and is doing another SEMA car, has quoted me $1800.00 to fix the front and paint. He is a little higher than some, but is a very talented painter.

Ian,
That is the car. It is such a good driver, and the interior is so nice, I bought it as a driver, and to fix it up in my retirement. However, my heart is not cooperating, and I want to sell it so someone else can enjoy it. I am not going to ask much for it, just need an idea what to sell it for.

Thanks,

Your car appears to be very clean on the inside.....curious what others think it is worth. I like the colors! I am personally a fan of grey interiors, so many people don't like them.

Sorry to hear about your health.

Jeff looked up the vin. And the color combo is 1 of 20. Painted rear wing, partial leather, headlight washers, power drivers seat, and a couple of other options.I The car needs nothing. It's fully serviced, runs great, drives super.

Yep. I'd like to get $12900.00. It is needing nothing mechanically that I know of. Recent oil change, service in 2016 at Hendricks Porsche, timing belt, tensioner, chain, etc, all done in 2014. I have all the receipts for that work. Carfax is clean with a buy back guarantee, (whatever that means!) I drove the car back from N.C. and loved the trip. AC is cold, all gauges work, interior is nice, nearly new tires, shifts great, it is just a nice car. Thanks,
Bill

Looks like a Great Honest Car, Your asking Price is very fair. Being last year production as a 1995 Coupe.
Actually think you should e asking more for it. Best of Luck with Sale!

Thanks. it is a fun car. I took it out for a little drive today, and do enjoy how these cars handle, the comfort, and the good gas mileage. Not to mention the cold AC. Gotta have that in Alabama in the summer!
