Looking For Center Caps for Speedlines
Like the title says I am looking for center caps for polished speedlines. Anybody have a set they are willing to part with? Thank you!

For your car to be correct you need the all metal Turbo script caps and the correct wheel locks set (965 type part# 965.361.955.00 not the later 993 type part# 993.361.057.00). Unfortunately the correct Turbo script cap has been superseded by the 993 plastic part and the wheel locks by the 993 type.

I _might_ have a set of crest caps - I know I do - question is are they metal?? - as I run the turbo ones on my Speedlines.
Just need to remember to look! Feel free to remind me via PM...

Try contacting Jim Dorociak on this forum I sold him a set of metal turbo and crested caps a number of months back he might be willing to sell you.

Since your car came with the wheels locks do you still have them? Do you still have the wheel lock caps removal tool (located in tool kit)? The removal tool only came with cars that were ordered with wheel locks - cars not ordered with wheel locks did not have this tool.

Hey Flachbau,
I'll have to go take a look on the car. Unfortunately travelling away from the car for a bit. I'll shoot you a note when I get back there!

The key on the wheel locks is extra long and has a notch to remove the caps. IIRC there was a small silver hook about three inches long in my turbo kit but nothing for my GTS. Is this what you are talking about?

The wheel locks are option code 455 - but are not on the window sticker (not all options are). They do show in the kardex build sheet and internal Porsche database. They may or may not be listed on a COA depends on who prepares the COA that day - not all COA contain the same level of detail and accuracy (believe me I know from much experience).
The correct key for 1994 Turbo does not have a notch. The small wire hook tool to remove the plastic wheel lock caps is in the tool kit. And the tool kit bag has a special slot for it. If you car was ordered without wheel locks then your tool kit bag (should) not have this tool or a slot for it.
This is a key blank for the correct key style http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wheel-Lock-K...dfb90a&vxp=mtr
The wheel lock style changed with the 1995 993.

Hi-
I checked - both my "turbo" and Porsche crest wheel caps are metal. I'm using the "turbo" ones on my Speedlines but would consider selling the crest set....
That said - you said polished Speedlines in the first post - none of my wheels are polished so maybe these won't match. Or maybe they'd need to be polished??
