Oh, I see

No I haven't, the weather never coincides with my auto electrician being free.

We are having real issues in the UK!

Well, finally the weather picked up in the UK, and my auto electrician was free.

We have removed the immobiliser, checked the EZ, all seemed good, although we didn't have a great knowledge of it.

But, we only had 26 ohms where we should have 960 ohms on the crank sensor?

The manual says the value is 540-660 ohm (measured between the two poles of the flywheel sensor plug up on the EZ unit) so you should replace the sensor.

Yes.
If you are doing the work yourself it's easier to buy a used sensor but risky in that it might not function or the connector may already be disintegrating.

You could buy a new sensor from the factory but the harness end will need to have a modern DIN standard plug fitted to it. Here it is in the Pelicanparts catalog:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...pg3.htm#item15

You would also need to buy the electrical blades that go into the housing. The part number is 999-652-811-40 (3 required).
