Absolutely gutted to hear this news over on pistonheads. I only met James once but he was a true gentleman. We discussed the injectors on his car and the fuelling issues he had and I recommended the ID 1000's I had just fitted to overcome my fuelling issues. Nice to see they made a difference from reading his thread just now. I spoke with him a number of times on email and he never let on that he was not well so this comes as a shock.
RIP James you will be missed on the petrolhead scene for sure.

RIP - he sure loved his Porsche and had some outstanding projects that had many of us drooling. I know him only from Rennlist, but know he lived life and followed his passion. jdorociak@gmail.com jim

That is very sad news. His flatnose replica build effort was epic and one for the books. I shared many images and emails with him to get many aspects of the build model correct - because he would have his project be no other way but perfect. His attention to detail was unparalleled. Among the community he will long be remembered for this effort and I hope his car finds the proper home which can respect the level of his effort.
He never indicated to me his illness so I am as are others shocked at the news. RIP indeed ... gone but never forgotten.
