Yes and Yes, thats what keeps us coming back.

It is a bit confusing to decipher at first.

These are supplements to the 964 C4 volumes. So the sections are provided so if an additional supplement is needed the section is labeled for it. These sections are broken up differently for the turbo's vs the n/a cars because of # of volumes in each set, but all use the same numbers for the heading.

There should be 6 supplements in addition to the original 91-92 manuals printed in 1990 and 4 supplements to the 3.6 T manuals originally printed in 1992.

Can you guys verify if you have every section in Volume 1 and volume 2 chassis for me.

Thanks

Most sets were printed after Supplement # 1 came out so it is already incorporated. You can tell by the supplement page and it should say something to this effect showing it's already included. AFAIK the original printings go back to 1988 and supplement number 1 is 90% of the manual with it being printed in 1990.

Could you check for sections 13, 24,26,32 & 45 for me. I have some of these in the 3.6 manual and the N/A manual but I lent mine to someone a while back and not sure if they are MIA or if they are like the others and never included.

If they exist I will trade you a copy of Supplement 5 for these sections.

That would be useful if it was.

Is it even produced/sold new any more? It would definitely be an argument to have one scanned and made available if they can't be bought any more.

Cobalt,

I checked my manuals for those sections but my set does not have them either. I would be interested in Supplement 5, if it’s not to much trouble. E-mail me what you want for it.

Ok so now we have it.

91-92 turbo manuals should consist of everything on the index but sections

13,24,26,32 & 45 of volume 1, and should also be missing sections 50, 51, 53, 55, 57, 60, 61, 63, 64, 66, 68, 72, 74, 80, 85, 87, 90, 91, 92, 94,& 96 of volume 2.

These sections are covered in the primary volumes of the n/a 964 set although some are supplemented in the 3.6T set which should not pertain to the 91-92 turbos. The reason for these being listed is for any supplements that might have come out offering a place to insert them.

Kavo and Kevin check for PM's

BTW I don't know if anyone has a better source for these but pricing is about $550 for the 3 volume 91-92 turbo set and the 1 volume 3.6T set sells for $225 or so. I had heard these were no longer going to be printed along with some other models and once sold out the cost would be prohibitive.

How do you plan to copy the 3 page fold outs. I would estimate 35-40% of the manual is larger than legal sized paper and the manuals use 8 1/4 x 11 3/4 paper vs standard 8 1/2 x 11. I know you can copy the regular stuff but won't you need a special scanner for the pullouts.
