John, it looks like the Techarts are using very different rim sizing than all of our Speedline wheels. They could be a 7" inner and a 3.5 outer. If you get a chance I would like to record your rim widths.

Jim
Jim I doubt this crappy pic will help but this is a factory 993GT2 rear 11" wide magnesium centered speedline. I can try to contact the owner to get dimensions but it might take a while.

Anthony, it is the thought that counts. It would be nice to get the sizes of the rim halves used in the different Speedline wheels.

Time to resurrect this thread. Its been over a year and I am finally getting to the point of putting the wheels back together.
I will post some pictures in the coming weeks as they come together.

James, that would be great. I would be curious to see what process was used to seal them.

Update: started putting the wheels together over the weekend. I reused my old speedline seals but would feel much better if I could add additional sealant above the factory seals.
Anyone have any ideas what sealant to use?

Anthony, I sent you an email the other day asking for an opinion. I have parts here to make an 8.5 front wheel and wondered if putting a 1.75" 1/2" wider on the rim width going out towards the fender lip vs the 1/2" deeper inner hoop both making an 8.5" wheel, but not sure which way makes the most sense. It would be possible for use a 7" inner plus the 1.75" and .25" crush and make a 9" front wheel. Jim

Update:
I was able to put two wheels together last night. Two more to go tonight and then torque them down.

Just got done torquing all the wheels down.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank 1st and foremost Anthony Cristello/Cobalt for guiding me through this painful and grueling process. There were a lot of stres, headaches and pain that I rather not discuss publicly.
I would like to thank Wheel Collision Center in Bath, PA for helping me through the process.
All in all, I am very happy and satisfied with the results. I will post some pictures shortly.
Raj
