Actually my wheels are RH.....
Last spring I had the centers stripped and polished but wasn't happy with the results. Also, the clear coat on the outers was breaking around the bolt holes.
I decided to have them re-finished properly and in a manner that would see the finish last a long time soooo....I dis-assembled them last November and sent the outers and centers to Jim Dorociak for refinishing.
Jim did a great job fixing all the issues and putting his special coating on them. I got them back in January but just re-assembled them this past week.
This is the assembly jig I built to hold the halves concentric while the Shin Etsu silicone cures (one tube will do 8 wheels; ask me how I know). I used inch long 8 mm hex bolts, washers and nuts in 6 places t clamp the halves together while the silicone cures.

It took me about 15 minutes to join the two halves together and after a 24 hour wait, 30 minutes to locktite and torque 40 flange nuts. I won't mention the hours of prep spent cleaning 160 bolts, nuts and wheels halves, of old silicone and locktite, however.
