I love it. If it was on this side of the pond, I might have to take it for a test drive.

Someone buy that car!

Check my avatar...this will suffice until my car is ready for photos.

Nope, other than getting half way done with #2 and snapping one of the bolts.

Wedding in under 2 weeks so not much car activity other than buying parts online.

Pm me with your progress.

I agree but it is too light for Maritime Blue? I was originally thinking Riviera but they say otherwise.

I think that is the first 3.6 I have seen in this color whatever it is.

The chart I listed shows the colors offered for 92. 93 and 94 were almost the same. As you can see the colors are off but it shows Maritime as darker than Cobalt and this car is lighter. The Maritime's I have seen next to my car looked much darker.

My guess is it is a special paint to sample color if original paint. One of a kind possibly.

I have actually seen this color on Porsche's before. For the life of me I cannot remember if it was a newer or later model. Odds are it is an older color special ordered.

Nice color and very unique. I wish 94's could fetch that much with the mileage listed here.

Good point. I will look at the Porsche Technik manuals I have for those years and see when Zermatt was offered. It may have been dropped after 91.

I always thought it was a special order color for the 91-92 911 turbo and was predominantly used in the late 1980's on the 944's...

Actually the list I posted combines both standard and special order colors. At the time Porsche did not charge extra for special order but did require a paying customer to order it. Although paint to sample was a considerable expense. This prevented the dealerships from ordering up these colors. That is why so many are painted in the standard colors like Red, black and white. I have seen a few GTS's in Zermatt so this list might be missing some colors

That'll be me! I believe Zermatt was a special order colour for 91, 92 & 93 (3.6) according to Peter Morgan's book, although I've never seen a 3.6 in Zermatt. It was pretty common on 944 and earlier 911s I believe.

Like Anthony I also thought this car was Riviera Blue but having looked at various cars it looks too dark for Riviera. I agree it also looks too light for Maritime, but that could just be the light - it is in the UK after all...

I looked up paint options and codes last night. I do not have the paint list from Porsche for 1991 but I have it for 92, 93 and 94. Zermatt is not listed as a standard or special order color.

Must be a really bad camera but I still think it looks too far off for maritime.

Here is a picture of Riviera on a 968 seems more like a lavender than Riviera.
