Default reduce lag?

What is the best upgrade or group of upgrades to reduce turbo lag?

lwfw?
highflow turbo?
better gear ratios?
headers/exhaust?
others?

Not the K27HF, perhaps the new improved version. I am still not willing to rule definitively (talk to me after 3 upcoming days at Mid Ohio and 2 at Watkins Glen) but I am pretty sure my K27HF increased lag.

I think all the others are better choices for reducing lag, though I only have experience with the lwfw. I think the lwfw is a must-do mod.

Charlie,
The K27 HF cab be based on the 7200 or 7006. Does the K27HF 7200 also increase lag?

Another thought on changing the gear ratio in the transmission, would that decrease the lag and makes the car more responsive !

changing the final drive ratio will do nothing to decrease lag, it will just cause the car to run at higher rpms at a given speed thus keeping you in an rpm range where the car makes more boost

About $1.400 - 1.500 USD including flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, bolts etc.

Can you really feel the difference after changing to lwfw ? In daily usage, would the car feel more jerky and hearing more noise from transmission ?

Charlie, with the many written accounts of people reducing lag with the installation of the High Flow, you truely are the exception of the rule. Your turbine wheel and turbine housing A/R has not changed. Lag will only be increased if you are dumping boost, and aren't utilizing it.
