I agree but for the right price. This 993 I am working on is a similar car with its issues but all in all I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.

In any case the car is not original and they banned me from asking any questions. My son did that much damage to one of my cars in an afternoon and the touch up is horrendous. If you claim "all" original it should be all original. If that is original paint I'll take mine painted.

The man will say anything to get top dollar Stay clear of Symbolic and Bill Noon unless you hate your money.

Cobalt, Most all dealer PPI would rip that car apart. Back in the late 90's all buyers would be disgusted with me if I sold a 3.6 Turbo looking like that underneath.
The seller gets a pass from Dealer PPI on BAT. Don't buy on BAT it's that simple or pay less. As the Website says, You need a trailer to haul this one home.

Sadly nobody wants to do PPI's anymore as to many lawsuits have happened over them. It is sad that BaT will facilitate this by siding with the seller and banning honest questions or pointing out clearly inaccurate statements.

If this wasn't a used car dealer I wouldn't say anything and if his comments weren't so flagrantly fictitious I wouldn't have said anything,

Ironically I had several people very interested in this car because of the lack of sunroof. My response these days if it is Symbolic or BaT just stay away. If only there was a modicum of transparency!!

Interestingly I have many friends that buy Fcars and vintage racers and their experience is quite different. Apparently that community is more up on what they are buying and sellers like this won't last long. It seems the 964's are so hot everyone thinks buy anything and you won't get hurt but that is far from the truth.

DOes anyone have any good turbos they know of for sale? Especially ones without sunroof I know some people interested. Market is pretty sad right now.

It appears they took the BJ photos and added a few. Clearly there is some paintwork with those readings especially after the heavy compound and detail work. I have seen this car before years ago and it didn't look remotely like this nice. One or 2 of the speedlines have been refinished and etching is missing. They show him wet sanding the clear off one but not applying new clear. Why change out the rare NLA center caps for the incorrect ones?. At least they put fresh rubber on it but why not swap out the tail lights and make it look top dollar? The car must have been a mess at BJ.

Finally a car I would recommend someone to buy. Nathan always has some of the finest examples.

I won't sell one of my cars without the buyer having an Independent PPI done I know Nathan is pretty much the same way. Although he does have some of the finest cars and I wish there were more like him.

Unfortunately, this is the common practice in the world's (other) oldest profession!

Cobalt, what brand paint would have been used on our cars when new? Glasurit?

^^ Awfully clean considering the mileage. It is an X33 which do command a premium and the majority of the 194 3.3's built with the x33 package went to Germany. It brought power up to 355hp at 5700 rpm vs the 3.6 turbos 360hp at 5500 rpm and a bit less torque. It is actually a simple upgrade anyone can do but the factory optioned car is always a plus. The car has been cleaned up but not much about the mechanicals and a turbo with this many miles needs work by now.
