clearly they added the USB charging block on the side of the front console,... which is also probably a AUX connection into the new head unit

are those Allessio's?
I think they just removed some plastic in the console and forgot to put it back

Only thing I can find is two receipts on the Speedometer. The needle is a darker orange and doesn't line up with the white starter mark. We always could tell if someone was in a speedometer.
...and 993 climate control. Guessing $1.4 sale price?
Does anyone know if I can swap my perfect 964 Climate control face with a 993 climate control?

Good fight - The other two guys that joined in had me figure I wasnt going to win - seems like an enthusiast got it
@audipwr1 I bought the BTR.
In the end, after talking to the owner, I was convinced by our conversation that it would be fine to drive it home and it performed just fine on the 3 hour ride back.
I think you and I were in the same boat of thinking that the car might have been presented poorly for what it was -- and the car is, as I had hoped, cosmetically lacking but mechanically strong.

I immediately got on the phone with RUF in Pfaffenhausen who have been (unsurprisingly) lovely, including helping me find some things that were reputedly "NLA." The first batch of parts to start bringing the car back to what it should be are already waiting to clear US Customs. It does need some paintwork but that doesn't scare me. Paint done well is expensive, but can be even better than factory, and if you know RUFs, they've pretty much all had paint work done. I'll handle the mechanical stuff and leave the question of how and how much to paint up to the experts at my shop.

There's a White Abandon 1991 turbo at IAA insurance auction. Looks like it sat outside like mine for many years. But could also be a Flood car. Has black mold in the rain gutters. I assume value would be $35,000 at that auction but would require 100% rebuild like mine at a cost of $80,000 to $100,000 to get it right.
I don't think they mold in the rain gutters like that with a quick flood. 107k miles Title status unknown

That actually looks kinda fun, interiors still widely available right?

New carpets etc / motor and trans rebuild/ pray for no rust?

I have Ruf Brochures. They show the cars being painted. No downdraft booth or PPE. Times have changed.
