The hose is very hard and cracked, so I think this is the oil leak I have. We'll see........
This hose is on the left side next to the oil pressure sender.

Next week more............... Nice weekend.

Oh.........Randall, yes, you can remove the sender by removing only the air flow meter!
I make some more pics by the time I remove it.

Nice pictures although there are two potential problems I see. Move the front jacks to the proper jack mounting point, right behind the front wheels. You have them resting on the track control arm cross member (yes it makes a difference). If something fails and you DON'T have a full tank of fuel you could possibly push the front end up far enough that you could get out, IF you are quick enough to stop your head from being crushed under the weight of the front end of your car. If ANYTHING fails WHERE you have the front jacks currently mounted you don't have that option. Which brings us to problem #2. If one of the rear jacking points fails your f*cked. (do a search to see that it has happened quite a few times, luckily without anyone under their Porsche.) Place something, anything under the transmission or center of the engine (you need another pivot point if you need to push the car upwards or at least something to give you another inch or two.) Even at USA ride height your head will not support the weight from the rear of a 964 for very long.

The jack stands front and rear are are VERY stabile placed.
I looked very carefully to that Item, especially in the rear of the car.
While working under the car I place a extra set of jack stands under the regular Car jack spots. I know it looks unortodox, but it's safe, believe me.

NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE!!!!!
First time Do it your selfers should place the Jack stands unter the regular jack stand spots!!!

I did it this way to have more space to work for my self.

Thanks for your advise!!

Exclamation Jackstand positions

I want to show the places where I put my jack stands.

Note: My jackstands are safe for those spots I choose because of a cerb on top of the stand, so it';s very stabil.

I did this because my jack is not low enouhe to reach the right spots under the car.
Also I have more space for my ' roller bed ' where I transport myself under the car.

This is the spot on the rear side [NOT ORIGINAL JACK SPOT]

The ones in the front, no possible movement to whatever direction.
The jackstands are closed up in the sub frame.

NOTE: Never use FLAT jack stands overhere, I mean flat on top so they could possible slip under there.

Cool

I found some time this afternoon to work on the car.

First I replaced the gasket from the aluminium cover which connects the engine ventilation hose to the engine. It's placed in the middle on top of the engine near the oil pressure sender. I did not thrust that gasket, but it was o.k. after replacing it. The old one wasn't broke.

I didn't know what my oil leak was, so I ordered it also.

Please be very caeful that nothing falls in to the engine if you ever should replace the gasket!!!

I noticed that the nuts where loose from the bracket who holds the cable for the trottle valve to the gas pedal. It's placed on the back side of the intake manifold. I could turn them by hand.

Please check them anyway, it's easy to do.

Cool

After that I replaced the fuel filter.

Please be carefull with that, and be sure you double check the connections after replacing. Please use tissues to absorb the fuel which comes out the filter.

BE SURE THAT YOUR BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
