Engine cut out
So, just completed a superb 500 mile trip and put the car in the garage last night .
Today, drove 3 miles to top up with fuel, and within 1 mile of leaving the petrol station, the car cut out Coming to a junction and wouldn't restart. All electrics still on, engine turned over fine on the starter ( spoiler stuck up ) . After 5 mins and many attempts the car restarted.
Managed another 1 mile, and turning into a junction the car cut out again. Same thing all electrics on etc , engine turning over but just no attempt to start. Thus time it would not restart. Swapped the dme relay but no change .
One thing I did notice though was the indicators are not working, but the hazards are ?
So,
Engine cut out and won't restart
All electrics working apart from the indicators
Any ideas ?

update !
tries it again today .. started 1st turn of the key
Indicators working as well
Havn't taken it for a drive as could do without being recovered again.
Hopefully get it to my specialist next week, but in the mean time I'm open to any suggestions on what it could be.
For info, the imobiliser is a conlog with key like this ( photo from the web )

The one thing in common with the 2 previous times this has happened was it was a cold fresh spring morning, so sun out but quite moist air. Also it cut out pulling up to junctions ( and signalling but this might just be coincidence )

Alarms and immobilizers are just one more thing in the chain that can fail. Sometimes a necessary evil, but if you can do without I would disable all alarms.
