I bet the rennlines are quite a bit lighter as well. These 993 mounts are heavy.

but OE 964 and 993 mounts are exactly the same. The only difference between C2 and C4 mounts purchased from Porsche (964 or 993) is the material of the casing, which is aluminum or steel.

Both bolts turned out to be heavily corroded. Very strange since the head and the bottom part sticking out still had the gold coloured coating intact.

Anyway, what is done is done. Now I need to find a way of getting the rest of the bold out. Regular tooling is not going to work since the metal drill bits are all to short to get to the bolts.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The RS mounts are finally in the car. All I can say is WOW! There is a little more vibration, but the pendulum effect I had when braking or turning in has completely gone. The car shifts better, brakes better and drives better.
