Default Winter rant

....just put my cars under ground. German winter will hit soon.
Don't think I can go back to drive "normal" cars for the next month.

That's all

Funny you mention...
Today I parked my 3.2 cab, and pulled the 964 from its 6 month slumber, to be driven until late april, *every day*.

Same 5 days ago in belgium, repainted a set of 16" narrow spoke cup I those wheels are feather weigted. With winter tyres and c4 ready for winter :-)

Quite strange however, steering is lighter, and the car seems less precise, more suspended

I don't find a significant need to store my 964 for the winter (all 3 days of it). Sometimes it's good to live closer to the equator.

The blue one is a C4S, actually. But the problem is the salt. They spray the streets with it yround here, and the stuff just kills the body...

I quite enjoy the winter break (from cars) it allows me to catch up with rest of life (work & family). Besides nothing beats the feeling of taking the car out for a spin on a cool sunny spring day for the annual maiden voyage - its like loosing your virginity to 911 - every year, bliss! (you can see I am heading for a 911 orgy next spring!)
