It has been converted to 2 wd.

It would be great if some Admin might change the Topic into "964 RSR Inspired Replica - I can't do that...

@connor100: I did not count the hours involved with this Car - but i can tell by now, at the very end of the build process, it was worth every minute of cleaning, thinking, mounting and driving around for some stupid little things.

The Silver Surfer weighs 1160kg - all fluids, 100% fuel...
It's okay i think, because i have metal doors, hood, fenders and a monster of a roll cage.

This should be the subject of a feature article in one of the marque magazines! (I'm looking in your direction, Pete Stout )

This thread is so good - it's inspiring!
Can't stop thinking about this.

I'd fly to Germany to learn
what I'd need to do to
tackle a project this well.

Seriously, do you have
a background in the
business - mechanical / shop owner?

@laranja:

Thanks for those words!

First of all: I think you can't do a project like this complete on your own.
If I needed a helping hand or ideas to solve a problem, my friends and especially my brother in law did help me out.

So, I do not have a real background in restoring Porsches.
But as a young boy I used to help my dad to repair his trucks - I guess that helped me doing what i did in the first place.
I learned some more about cars by helping my friends working on their cars and doing my first Project: A Mercedes W126 500 SEC...

Hi Mark, tell me something about your rear spoiler please (or did you pages before?)? OEM, GFK, where to buy and the price and how it fits etc.

Thanks

PS: I do have two of the "normal" 965 spoilers, but I love the powerful look of the GT spoiler
PPS: where is your fantastic work to look at in GER?
