Default Was there an option when buying a 964 to delete headlight wipers?

Having some paint done and want to keep the car to original as possible spec for a factory car.

Was it just RS and Turbo S Lightweight that had headlight washers deleted or was in an option you could spec?

Thanks

Lee

I don't have headlight washers either. Most of the cars I have seen haven't had headlight washers...

I don't know if it even was an option, or just a legal thing for some markets. Here in Sweden the cars had to have headlight washers and also the 3rd brake light. If you want to delete them you have to fill the holes in some way or replace the bumper.

They were options. My 1990 C2 has the both the headlight washer (code 288) and the high intensity windscreen washer (code 286)

For serveral countries (i.e. Germany and Austria) headlight wash (not wipers) was standard fitment while in other countries (i.e.. US) it was an option.
Real headlight wipers I have only seen on Jaguar XJ so far

90 C4 - I have the headlight washers but not a headlight wiper.

They are on the top of the bumper just below each headlight.

US market was standard on the turbos and an option on C2/C4.
