On the airbag light, no need to get the Hammer $$$, just get T-OBD (Tore On Board Diagnostic tool) here

You need to download 'Scantool' software, I believe it is available from Bergvillfx site.
Also do a search here, many forum members have posted about it.

You have to have this tool especially at $130, indispensable for any 964 owner. Just a note, Scantool has a limitation for C4 so you may need the Hammer which is $1260.

I need a technician badly. Anything negative if I ignore the warning light if I am not driving it? No, I don't think current has such good jubi available!

On my car 93 C2 trip, if I remove the battery, the air bag light will go on. The only way to remove it is by clearing the error code via a diagnostic tool & the cheapest way is T-OBD.

I tried many things before finally figuring it out. Yes you can drive it with the airbag light on, but it's annoying.
