Default Flare nut wrench 7mm

For the life of me I can't find a decently priced set that includes the 7mm? Who makes the ones you use? Thanks.

What do you need this one for?

I'm going off memory here, but all I can think of where i've needed a 7mm wrench on the car was to tighten the various clamps on the intake assembly and to open the bleed valve on the slave cylinder. For both of those, you can use the closed end of a normal 7mm wrench.

Slave cylinder bleed. Read on one of the DYI's that it avoids rounding out the nut which is common. Sounds like it's not necessary.

Put the wrench on the nipple, then slip the hose over the nipple. Carry out your bleed procedures. When you're done, remove the hose, then remove the wrench.

You can also use a 7mm socket and ratchet to break loose the nipple, then immediately snug it up to prevent brake fluid everywhere. Then proceed with your 7mm wrench.

Agreed w vandit...I use a 7mm box end. Put it on the nipple first and then the hose and all set. Never use an open end. I looked for a 7mm flare too, but no reason since a box end is safer and works just as well.
