Convertible top switch wiring
Hello,
I am in the process of installing a new convertible top switch in my 1991 C2 Cab. I pulled out the old switch and the female plug was pulled apart as well. I now have a three terminal wire that I do not know their orientation to put back in the plug and finish my install of the new switch.
Can anybody instruct me as to which of the three wires go into which location in the plug?
Thank you in advance.

If I understand you right this is what you are after.
Picture one regarding the NC or NO of the switch of the 1991 but refer to 1992.
Picture two is the 1992 as should be used for you. Just read color of the wiring and you should be on the right track. :-)

Ps. Always try to take a photo before you take things apart.....it has saved me alot of times ;-). Ds

Pin 1 - Orange
Pin 2 - Blue/White
Pin 3 - Not used
Pin 4 - Yellow

Don't know! Orange appears to be the power supply (ignition on), b/w to a hood microswitch and Y to control unit. Should be simple to work out using a voltmeter bearing in mind that the switch provides two outputs (open and close).

Ok, I missunderstod which switch you were talking about.
But IF you look now you can see on diagram where the colors go
Blue/white #2
Yellow #4
Orange/black #1
Does this the help you out?
I can see the numbers on your switch so it just to stick it in the right hole :-)

This is exactly what I needed!
New switch in and the top works flawlessly.
I should have taken a closer look at the switch and
plug, they are labeled with the pin numbers.
Thank you both for all of your help and guidance.
