Default would cup 2 wheels look good in vintage gold with red calipers?

I am debating about painting my cup 2 wheels a vintage gold. My car is GP white so I know gold looks good on rims as most BBS rims on white look super good. I have never seen what cup 2 wheels with vintage gold look like on a white car. Also, would it be tacky to have red calipers as well? what are your thoughts?

I'd say no. My opinion is that Cup2's are a "silver wheel" only.

Respectfully disagree. Not in the 80's, not now.

I saw why not. Every other cup 2 I see are silver. Dare to be different. Just look at mine.

your car - your decision - other's opinions are not your guide However, if you want to know what they will look like - take the side on image you have of your car - and put it in photoshop (or equivalent) and gold paint the rims. Will quickly show you what you need to know.

Found an image of them in Bronzie gold.
I think they could look very good, I'm considering the same but with Cup I rims.
They can always be returned to Silver if it doesn't work!

I thought of painting my Cup 1's Vintage Gold, but since change my mind. You can get a spray can from "DipYourCar" so it will be easily reversible if not to your liking.

that is the plan. I am going to plasti dip them and see if it looks good. If not then I will just take it off. and go back to the black and polished lip.

I think it depends on the colour of the car. Eg with red, I happen to think the bronze coloured wheels (like Stuart has posted) happen to look good and it something I too am considering.

well I hope to get them painted next weekend if I get some time to do it. I have a few projects to finish before the wife will let me work on the car. I will share pics as soon as it is complete.
