another one of Tarek307's cars being resold at CNC motors, i remember this targa and tried to buy but wasn't quick enough, could have got for mid 40's just a year ago. Tarek can you confirm this is your car? i'm 99% sure it is.
eyup that was also my car, the beautiful GP white 1992 Targa, i'm surprised at $74,900 asking price they didn't bother refinishing the inside of the gauges as they were peeling. I had a lot of fun picking up that car, bought it in SF and did a 3 day road trip back to LA through PCH, That was one of the cars i wish i could have kept. Not the first car i've sold that i realize is kind of being flipped for a profit..i definitely gave that one away.
Question: How can you guys tell that it lost it's magnesium wheels, when the Barret Jackson pics seem to be doctored up so much?
.... The BJ photos appear to be very photoshop enhanced, and thus the rims look like they have a sheen on them (almost appearing to be polished aluminum).
Are there other BJ pictures on their website somewhere that have close ups similar to the pics on Silver Arrow??
.... maybe the lower sale price reflects the fact that it lost it's mag wheels....
You can keep the sticker but it has been far too long since we got together. Lots of new and interesting things on the horizon. Would love to get together one of these days. I was contemplating Amelia but don't know if I have the energy again and my friends aren't doing the concours this year. Although it is the 964 30 year celebration
A few of us are planning to drive down to Amelia island if the Alabama car is done by March...we can swing by and scoop you up on the way!
Yessir, was a huge auction. 2012 GT2 was a couple cars before the RS. Went for $300k. Lots of other really sweet rides...McLaren, Lambos, ridiculously modded Mercedes 6x6 that went for over $1M, Jim Rockford's Firebird...
I heard the Porsche’s all did well at the auctions this year thus far.
That Ruby RS looks like it may have had a full respray judging by the pictures posted from the other non doctored website. Almost looks like it may have had a color change too but that would require an inspection in person. Still it’s a super rare car and in great condition.
