Aye aye
Color is something special, I have had people say to me: "why did you buy the car in that color" and complete strangers on the gas station approving me with "wow what a great color"!

I'm also a big fan of Ametyst. Superb color on a 964! Looks even more brilliant now that she's all waxed and clean! Nice job!

Some changes before the season starts again.
My clutch is up for replacement, could have waited another season but since I am do for a major service with valve adjustment it makes sense to save time, drop the engine and do it now.
Have ordered the RS style clutch and lightweight flywheel from Brombacher:
http://www.fvd.de/de/en/Porsche-0/-1...lbs._max..html

Also decided to order the LB2 performance kit "Race" with 100cell sport cat and tuning chip also from Brombacher LB2 performance kit "Race" with 100cell sport catalytic

Furthermore I will also be changing the brakes, but just to a drilled disc with the same calibers since I won´t be using the car for the track, and some new tires.

With this "upgrade" I hope to get a lot better throttle response, and a bit more umpf from the engine without making it unusable for daily driving. Brombacher says 50HP gain on 98 octane (we have 99 V-Power), but that is probably a bit on the optimistic side.

Can´t wait until spring!

Interesting wheels....look like Design 92 centers on an 18" wheel.

Dennis,
With your wise text above with your 964 and the use of girlfriends....
Does this mean that YOU are starting to drive in the Winter as well ;-)

I showed the picture to Kerstin...she burst out in laughter

But you are so right

I really thought about it Per, but the climate here is just so bad so I won´t do it.

It a Weinkath C1 wheel. Kinda like the Speedline RS magnesium wheel but much much cheaper.
