And no rust in the headlight's bowls either - woohoo!
Note: these are just Cup1 wheels, the mags have been refurbed and will be back on this week. RS will be back 100% original to go to its new life in Central London.

If it was mine i would get the front resprayed and then paintshield applied to protect it. As long as its clear that it had nothing to do with damage to the car I can't see how this would be a negative going forward. A lot of this is to do with me hating stone chips though. It aggravates my OCD haha
I've had mine on for over a year and it still looks perfect. In that time I would have had to re paint mine at least 10 times to keep in as good nick as it looks now, because I'm **** and use the car aggressively, european road trips on stoney roads, track days and filming.
To give you an idea the Cayman R we filmed in Skye recently got completely peppered by the chase vehicle. The 964 with it's film is still flawless.
It all depends how you use the car... If I drove mine very little then I wouldn't bother.
The technology has truly advanced now. My Expel film adds what looks like another layer of lacquer, I found the shine was even deeper. The self healing quality really works a treat also. To keep it in good condition you apply the same labour as normal paint - PH neutral shampoos and waxes.

hi Frank, car is ready and was out and about all weekend.
No paint shield, just pure new paint all over, good for another 10years and many many more stonechips

I took the beetle surfing today - 400 miles back and forth, 4 hours spent in the water...tired
The RS wasn't a highway queen...mainly due to the very poor UK roads, but on the smaller roads and smooth surface she was a lot of fun.
She certainly did attract some attention in the parking lot however.who needs a camper???

Hi 911trasher,
Nice RS, my question is how difficult is driving LHD car in RHD traffic? Especially passing a car on 2 lane road, paying toll, parking, etc. I live in RHD country but considering importing a LHD US car.
