New Original Equipment Manufacture seal kits are now available from Ninemeister, UK.

The price of two pairs of seals is £50 (+VAT where applicable) plus carriage:

Europe: To sets of seals, jiffy bag, signed for 3-5 day delivery = £72.50 including VAT

I will guarantee these prices to all Rennlist members until the end of 2013, trade enquiries welcome.

If anyone wants to combine postage cost with a friend I can send up to 10 sets of seals for the same postage cost, so please work this out between yourselves and just send me one payment for the total quantity required including VAT if appropriate. Payments can be made direct to our Paypal account which is sales@ninemeister.com and we can only post the items to the registered address of the Paypal account we receive the funds from.

Photo below shows the parts that you will receive.
Please note:
These parts are delicate and hence easily damaged
The round blue piston seal must be fitted in the correct direction as the original, otherwise it will leak
The black rubber o-ring goes underneath the piston seal and acts to compress the seal to the bore of the cylinder
The two glyd rings are supplied flat and must be wrapped around the cylinder on assembly.

If anyone has any problems with installation - please ASK FIRST !!!

Hi Colin. Any chance you have scan of the page in the shop manual for which part we are talking abt? I hadn't thought abt this for my C4, but hadnt thought to look for a leak either...

These seals are for the slave cylinders 19 & 20 in the diagram of the 4WD control circuit below.
19: 928.332.775.12 = £389+VAT
20: 964.339.775.07 = £336+VAT
Unlike a clutch slave cylinder, these have special low friction pistons & seals which are rated for continual operation. Until now the only solution to fix leaking cylinder seals would be to buy a new one at the scary UK prices above. The seals obviously won't fix a scored cylinder bore but they will make good one that has just worn out its seals.

Quick one regarding Paypal payments. Can you ensure that you send the funds in UKP not USD as Paypal will convert it at the time of the transaction using their correct exchange rate, thanks!

Paypal'd as porter_t_dog. How about some guidance- my actuators are not showing any issue at the moment. Replace the seals proactively, or don't fix what ain't broken?

Thanks!

I would think bad seals results from never servicing the hydraulic fluid. I ordered my set so that next time I am purging my fluid I can check for leaks and rebuild as necessary. This is a great step towards keeping our C4s on the road for many more years.

Sure, with signed for shipping it would cost £60.50 total for 2 sets of seals.
