Default VW 54 front light lenses, it's alright if you don't tell anyone :D

after viewing nugatory1 thread about projector lights for 964 https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...eadlights.html

i ordered some lenses for my lights as i cracked one last summer
http://www.wolfsburgwest.com/cart/De...ID=111941115HW

just did it this weekend and only had my iphone on me but i love the new look, a little bit of 993/singer look on those lenses

And my Boxer Buzz lightyear chillin on the way home from the garage
doesn't hate the 911

and also one little video testing out the lights

I've had those set saved in my bookmarks for a long time now, but I love the way it looks. I'd say its very AP Car Design as well.

Any trouble during install?

My question is how the light visibility will be influenced, because technically the OEM's have those "ridges" that help disperse light.

No trouble installing,, it's the same stuff as the original

visabillity is not worse but i was worried about the ridges but i went to the yearly car check or mot the day before just to be safe...

and we have daylight almost 24/7 in the summer so i didn't really care as i don't use the lights much

So let me get this straight, $20 x2 VW lenses bolt directly in and look better? For $40 how can you go wrong.

Did you do the same mod as nugatory1 ? his looks like the projector bulb sticks out more.
and yours looks like you have a reflector behind yours.

I like the look of yours better the other one was too bug-eyed

I can see this mod taking off. Great cheap solution for those of us who want that "Singer" look, but arent sure whether to splash out on the full kit yet
