They'll really screw up the beam pattern; you'll need the originals (RHD) to pass MOT.

You fancy coming to Fastlane show in Corbridge (12th May)?

Chris
Dunno, probably depends on the weather. Went year before last when I had the tvr and was torrential rain so wasn't much fun!

They look good, definitely an upgraded look, but as Mr.Alex initially pointed out, they may be detrimental to actual light output and the usability of the beam pattern.

The ridges on the stock lens aren't for show.

If you don't do much/any night driving, then no big deal.

I would be interesting if someone did a back to back (OEM vs clear lens) comparison of the light output and beam on a dark wall.

Definately.

For me, these would be for show use and summer (day time) driving only.

+964. Would love to see a side by side, love the look but do care about night time driving!

I'l try to get side by side pictures on Friday, my fogs are ~60% of my night time visibility, so interested how this will influence night life.

I don't think side-by-side will be beneficial since the beams overlap. Just take a pic of the output and beam pattern against a wall (maybe 15-20 feet away) w/ the stock setup, then do it again after you swap the lenses. Just make it so the conditions are consistent between both pics (e.g. dark wall, similar ambient lighting conditions, camera settings the same, etc.)

A mate has told me he fitted clear lenses to his Westfield, and fitted a patterned reflector to ensure the beam pattern remained the same. Not sure if we could do something similar? This place sells them, about half way down the page:

Hi Chris,

Haha thanks. I'm based in the Philippines. Yes will post pictures of the build. Currently there will be 3 builds here in Manila and possibly a fourth RWB.

Well I took pictures of the before and the lenses are supposed to come today, however, because I'm such a simple minded bloke, I only now realize that I probably have H5's on the car.
