Sorry chaps - with everything going on right now, time is a commodity in short supply! You're all lucky to have driveable cars right now Mine's back very soon and then its all guns blazing provided Tom keeps off the christmas sherry

BIG update. Good ol'Blue is back! Had a great drive last night in conditions which suited the C4 down to the ground.. Heavy rain on A and B roads all the way back to London from Redteck.

I have to keep below 4000 revs for 1000 miles so I've not really been able to feel the benefit of the cup cam as yet.. The engine does feel great though with all the previous problems banished. This included the erratic idle, smoking and stalling. Because of the cam it now has a lumpy idle but I like that, gives it character! The bay is nicely set off with the gold detailing, new sound pad and removal of the blower.

While at Nick's place I sent off the momo for a retrim, as standard the r was too thin and did not suit the character of the car. I sent it to Jack at Royal Steering Wheels who did a great job for the cash. Obviously not as high quality as a £300 job (as quoted by others) but at £130 all in I think it is great and feels so much nicer to hold now.

I've also found a brand new gearshift cover in dark grey on eBay .. I will get the centre tunnel dyed or trimmed in leather and then install this too.

Next job will be fitting the RS carpet set from APPBIZ.. I am keeping the sound deadening and have been told it is perfectly possible to save provided some steam is used when removing the old carpets.

I also have some Pole Positons with Southbound mounts ready to fit. I hated the garish white Recaro logo so I dyed it black.. It is now still obviously there but looks more subtle and more like a stamp in the material. Unfortunately while using a hair drier on the due I got too close and damaged singed the cover on one of the brand new seats!! Was not happy.

Ol'Blue, back where he belongs. Am going to keep the D90s as winter/street tires but have a set of Refurbished Cup 1s for summer and track use, they are being fitted with AD08Rs next weekend..

Jack, your steering wheel look very good to me, why do you think that paying another £200 will give you a much better finish. I've been quoted £325 for my Sport wheel to be re trimmed and I bet it will come back no better than yours. I think I might try your guy.
I need a new gearshift cover, are you happy with the quality and where did you get it from.

Love the Alfa by the way, very nice.

Like it a lot!

Seats look really cool, do they come with Porsche logo or is this something you had done?

Agree with recaro logo, toned down nicely.

This car is rapidly becoming my 2nd favourite blue 964 nb (after my own of course).
