Default Spoiler Mechanism and more

Updated figures for weight reduction, including the spoiler mechanism and head unit for the stereo:

Removed so far in Kgs:
Tools: 0.54
Front Fogs:1.1
Spare tire: 13.4
Rear under-tray: 4.97
Tray bolts: 0.15
Tire Pump: 1.2
Car Jack: 2.04
Rear Seat backs: 6
Rear footwell carpet: 0.7
*Cat bypass: 10kg (est)
*Rs flywheel: 10kg (est)
Rear wiper delete: 6
Intensive wash reservoir: Still need to weigh
Rear Belts: 2.2
Rear gas struts: 0.48
Frunk carpet: 2.3
Spoiler mechanism: 0.875
Stereo Head Unit (Pioneer): 1.8

Total so far: 64.115Kgs!!!

Still need to remove:

speakers
Rear Shelf
Sunroof Delete: Might just take motor out for now as not working anyhow
DoorCards and replace with RS
Rear Heater Bypass pipe (5KGs est)
Also want to replace the rear deck with a duckspolier (7KGs estimated Saving), go with a carbon bonnet (14KGs est saving) and Recaros (13Kgs x2 est) .

Target reduction is 100KGs.. will take pics at some point of all the stuff removed so far.. As far as my use of the car is concerned none of this has diminished the car's usability on the road..

Also received the new doorcards from APPBIZ, they weigh 2.89KGs in total so will subtract this from weight of current cards when I fit them..

Motor Mechanism and Stereo..

Thanks Guys... The ribbing was an extra but I preferred it to the flat plain ones even though that is how the real RSs are..

+1. Nice look... A little bit RS, a little bit stock. Nice way to give the RS cards a more interesting style.

Default Doorcards

Fitted the new door cards today..

Original cards x2: - 9.8kgs

RS Cards x2: + 2.89 KGs

Total so far: 71.025Kgs!!!

Next on list are lightweight RS carpets but the sound deadening is staying in place. The Pole Positions will have to wait as cant afford any big expenses for a while due to the upcoming engine rebuild.

Jack. I removed the sound deadening but kept centre tunnel forward of handbrake and footwells. Absolutely perfect combo of weight reduction and comfort...

She's ooking good! Plus nobody likes a fat lass do they?

Nice look, I prefer that style to the normal RS type. Was the weight of the original cards with speakers or without?

With speakers.. but the handles, bins and other bits weigh a fair bit too.
