Wink Tores kit, t-lock and the ecu connection hardware

Guys and gals,

Just wanted to drop a post up regarding both of tores products.

Firstly the t-lock, what a bit of kit and so easy to fit. Gives the 964 that modern feel and saves the locks from getting abused. The kit itself was really easy to fit and the detailed instructions from tore was spot on.

It's been in a couple of weeks now and has made my life so much easier.

At the same time I purchased the ecu leads, again quality bit of hardware that (if you follow the instructions) is really easy to setup and start your diags on the car.

I had a question regarding the software setup and tore was responsive, helpful on the money with his advice.

Anyone thinking of buying please don't hesitate, his hardware is tops and he certainly knows his stuff.

Have a look at his site for more info.

Cheers
David

Thanks for the feedback David, this is much appreciated.
The somewhat old Scantool software has some quirks that needs some attention, especially in modern operating systems. I've made a utility file that automatically renames the cfg files, making it a bit more simple to switch between 964 and 993 mode. You also made me able to improve the installation manual, all my customers will benefit from that, thanks!
Cheers,
Tore

Yep. A Windows PC running XP/Win7 (8) or a Mac running a virtual Windows machine. All software and user manuals (important reading) is downloadable on my product page. Items are ready for next day shipping.
Thanks!

+1 for me. Did the t-locks first and then ran the diadnostics. Super kits, directions simple. Tore is very helpful. I still get people telling me my 1990 964 won't run without a cat, but I don't let the car know that.

Are you saying that it doesn't run well without it or that it doesn't run clean without it?
