How do you remove and refit the engine fan? Mine needs powder coating.

I noticed the 1995 993's engine bay looks very similar to the 964's, with regard to the black plastic.

Oh my goodness they are all so UGLY.

You have loosen the alternator to make removing the fan easy. All the fan belt pulleys come off first then you can loosen the alternator. If the fan doesn't pop off the shaft you can remove the alternator entirely and use a gear puller to pop off the fan from the alternator shaft. Do a search on alternator remove. Someone did a good write up.
