Default New lift with pics

I am thinking about adding another car so I decided to purchase a 4 post lift. It will also make working on the car a lot easier!!

If I had the room I would do the same looks superb. That is one clean organised garage and the car (even the wheel arches) look spotless, well done

Time to relocate the ceiling fan me thinks. Looks great though, how high will you be able to get the car at maximum lift? Enough to get another one underneath?

Thanks guys! Yes, I plan on getting rid of the opener and raise the door a little. After I do that I should be able to fit any car underneath.

I think it's time for an updated picture in the garage thread:

Is that the Back Yard Buddy lift?

I was looking into that one....

How high is your ceiling if I may ask....?????? My Carrera is 52 inches and my 04 Cobra is 51 inches per build sheet......I hope it can fit in my garage....I know you need a few extra inches for the lift to go upwards to unlock itself prior to lowering........

Also who put it together for you and how did you get it to your home?...From looking into this it seems there are a lot of obsticales to overcome, but I am willing to attack...

Thank You...

Thanks again guys! Very pleased so far.

I purchased it from Greg Smith Equipment...I had heard good things about them, and had wanted one for a long time so I finally pulled the trigger. I had it shipped to a buddy’s shop where they had a forklift and loading dock. I then went and picked it up with a tandem axle trailer. The hardest part was getting it unloaded off the trailer. One of the ramps has the hydraulic cylinder and it was VERY heavy. Once it was unloaded I had a couple friends help me and we had it together in 3hrs. Pretty painless really

The ceiling is about 10ft…little higher because I have a lip at the bottom. I have measured a lot and I should be able to fit the Porsche on top with really any passenger car below it after I mess with the opener. No trucks/SUV’s.

911Jetta…love your wheels. I did the plasti-dip on my wife’s Touareg. I like it, but she didn’t so I peeled it off. I had the CUP 1’s powder coated black because I knew I would like the look
