Hi Frank,

Sorry to hear about the accident!

After all this effort and anticipation I am sure that it will take more than a dodgy wrist to stop the new and improved "Black Betty's" inaugural SPA event.

I hope the wrist is okay in time, just remember to drive carefully, select gears smoothly and punch with the other hand!

Just a couple of questions,

I know from reading your threads that "Black Betty" started out as a "daily drive" and "occasional track" car. I noticed in your last post that you would now prefer the KW "club sport" set up rather than V3's.

Is Betty now an out and out track car or do you intend to use her as a daily drive as before?

Too true.

Thanks mate.

Well I refuse to believe she can't do everything, traffic, touring, track work, weekend blasts.
Living in London I take public transport so no need for a commuter.

I see the car as a hybrid really. It ain't an RS - so RS badges, RS door cards, RS centre bumper don't work for me. Even if I (I wouldn't do it) changed to 2WD I would still have it badged as a C4.

I run the V3 on full hard all of the time, so ClubSports would have better suited my application in the end.

Frank - sorry to hear about the accident, but glad to hear that you are ok. I had an old lady back out of her drive into a busy road right in front of me and had a similar type of accident as I tried to evade on my old Yamaha enduro. Dislocated shoulder and road rash on entire right side of body meant it was my last time on a bike... Agree with BU you need to be in BB... which looks awesome btw... can't wait to see her in the metal.

Do it Frank - there is no substitute (for Spa!)

Update
New exhaust with heat has arrived and been bolted on - pic soon. Nick called and said "can you hear that!?" was the best sound I heard all year - she lives.

Road mapping begins, followed by dyno - Bob Watson's the mapper.

We'll see! Cheers Paul. Have you seen the sew on patches? We've made good use of your L964O design mate - thanks

Cheers mate, cast comes off on the day we leave for SPA. If it's healed I'm off... talk about cutting it close!

Awesome cast!

Thought you might have gone Black to match the car.

At least you've got somewhere to put your driving notes!
