Speak to Henderson Taylor for insurance. It includes unlimited track days provided you notify them before hand and its not a demolition nderby. It was the best quote I could find that gave track days. It is also with Aviva.

Matthew is the broker and a top bloke.

Dove the 964 today for the first time since putting it back together ,drove to Goodwood for a full english in the heavy rain ,car is good the only rattle was the tail pipe had come loose time we got there

All seems good to g,o 12 new plugs made a difference and cam covers and timing chan covers all dry ,just one tiny drip ofl oil from up high ,I can live with that

I am with Mannings unlimited TD cover included less than £500 per annum on a 5k miles restriction

Classicline charge me per trackday. Got the two days at Spa for £106.

Ah, but at least you've not had the worries of will or won't it be ready in time.

Just used Bengo insurance to get personal cover for the weekend trip, loss of money, belongings etc. also medical cost and repatriation to the UK should the worst occur. Did it all online for £28 maybe worth a look? you can never have too much cover!

Squealed - thanks but it doesn't cover your car which the others do. It reads more like travel insurance which I have

I saw in the exclusions that "does not cover policy holder if 3 piece wheels fail on car after being rebuilt by car owner and policy holder is passenger" you could be in trouble squealey

I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out of this, as something has come up at work. A shame as my car looks like it will be ready - it's being put back together at the moment having come back from the bodyshop last week. Spa is also my favorite track, would have been good to see 25 964s there!

Anyway, I hope the weather clears up and that everyone has a great time.

Cheers
Ian

Sad to hear that. After hearing about your car from Peter at GTOne - was looking forward to seeing it.

Has anyone managed to get brekdown cover specifically for this trip rather than as an addition to an existing policy?

I am struggling as most policies have an age exclusion, car not driver that is :-)

Yep. Seen that too.

Seeing as we are all worried if it is on or not I've been in contact with Bookatrack. Spa circuit will decide on Wednesday whether the track will be open. Therefore we will not get an e-mail until Wednesday evening about what is happening.

Let's just keep crossing our fingers that we'll be good to go.

I used them last year £25.00 for the weekend, and will do again this

Research I did prior suggests they are all good
