Default Oil Filter - Genuine or OEM?

The genuine filter is going for $20 a pop. $10 for the Mahle, $7 for Bosch. I've been using the genuine, but is there really a difference?

This has been discussed before, here is a link to some good info. Look at post # 5 and 6 https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...il-filter.html

Mahle OC-54 is pretty much the only way to go IMHO.

WIX, Mahle, or Mann will be fine to use.

Purolator filters used to be okay too, but I just stick with the Mahle filters any longer.

Mahle OC54 as well...

In EU they sometimes get sold as Knecht OC54. Same filter though.

The Genuine filter is just as good, but I only use it when Mahle isn't an option.

No problems with either.
