Default Sell "as-is" or de-mod?

Im currently looking for an "F" Class race car to replace my RSA which I use mostly for DE and the occasional drive to work. Given the condition of the car I have determined that it is just too nice to convert it to a full race car. The previous owner spent a lot of money converting the car to Euro RS spec and some of the mods are just too expensive to reverse in order to fit into the right racing class competitively.

Once I put the RSA up for sale, should I sell "as is" or de-mod first? It currently has original Cup 1 wheels with the centers painted red, "Carrera" side scripts that are easy to take off and Recaro Pole position seats. Should I buy original RSA seats to replace the Recaros? Remove the roll bar and 6 point belts? What would be the most effective way to sell the car?

Original Condition when I bought it:

You have options, put it up for sale with a couple of different price points and see what surfaces.

If you do "demod" the car...let me know as I may be interested in the cup wheels, roll bar and 6 point belts. PM me with the specifics and photos of the above items if you go this route. Good luck with your replacement car search. Tom

Tom, will do - BTW, the Cup 1s came originally with the car so they won't be coming off. I might just have them powder coated all silver again.

I think this will depend on the mileage on your RSA... If it has under 50k, then definitely bring it back to stock. I think you will get a hefty premium for the car, and the RS mods/parts will fetch a premium as well.

My $0.02,

I guess it depends on from which point it'll be considered just another modified 964 over an RS America. Possibly try to sell it as-is first with the price aimed at what you think it'd be as a standard RS America? If that doesn't work then put it back to stock and sell the parts.

Does it now reside with you over in the States Frank? I remember your track videos in Ireland, hence the question.

The only things that would be remotely important to me are the airbags, rear RSA tail, and seats. Everything else is well within reason.
