My T-OBD page has a download link for Scantool software as well as my user guides.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Tore

Thanks to everyone who has posted!

I ordered the T-OBD unit from Tore and have the software working. The software quickly connects to the Motronic and CCU systems on my '90 964 but has not established a connection the the SRS or ABS systems. I'm especially interested in the SRS connection as I have the airbag warning lamp illuminated and was hoping that I could clear this code. The screen showed connecting but never established the connection. Does this connection take longer to establish? Is this supported in a 964?

I have the switch set to DME as I understand that this is proper.

Any suggestions or help are most appreciated.

Cheaper than the Bosch Hammer (what isnt) and it does not need batteries (which is a real problem with the Hammer) , I bought one from a Rennlister and am quite pleased with it
Battery replacement is not a problem with the "Hammer"
Go to any Batteries Plus store and they will make up a rechargeable pack. I had one made earlier this year.

@993James993,

Even using my official porsche Hammer connecting to the Alarm, SRS, and ABS control units isn't as easy as connecting to Motronic and CCU. I usually cycle the ignition key and try to connect - sometimes it works. The Hammer "times out" in 3 tries or so, but the scantool tries to connect continuously to the unit

Thanks! I was able to connect by hooking up the reader, selecting SRS from the menu and then starting the car. I cleared the only code displayed (#29 if I recall correctly) but the light did not go out. A refresh did not show the same code but the light was still illuminated when I restarted the car.

Does anyone know if there is something else required to clear the lamp?

Just started up my car and no more Airbag light! Tore's T-OBD just paid for itself! Many thanks to the members who designed the circuit and wrote the software and to Tore and Ricardo for building and selling the devices.

Tore

I built my own Scantool interface years ago, however, I still don't have a proper 19 pin round adaptor. Do you sell just the plug? I would solder the 4 wires myself, if tha's the case!

but can't see the link or page where the software is ... is it on RL somewhere? Tore-B's site also seems to have changed.

thanks!
